The author of Hebrews tells us to "not neglect meeting together...for the purpose of encouraging and serving one another" (Hebrews 10:25). It is duty, but also the joy, of believers to come together to build one another up in the context of the Church - through the ministries of the Word, prayer, and the sacraments. To do this successfully, we all must be involved. The early church was clear, our faith is a they endeavor...not just me.
